COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Community Schools officials announced on Tuesday that the High School Prom has been cancelled for 2020.
The COVID-19 outbreak forced a postponment of the prom which was originally scheduled for May 2 at Pokagon State Park’s Potawatomi Inn.
Officials had been holding off cancelling the prom for this year in hopes that they might still be able to put one on.
But they could not hold out any longer due to the size of the school and the continuing restrictions on gatherings.
Coldwater High School’s graduation ceremony is scheduled to be held on August 2.
