HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – Former Branch County Administrator Duke Anderson is retiring as President and Chief Executive Officer at Hillsdale Hospital.
He spent four decades in community health with 14 of those years as Hillsdale Hospital’s president and chief executive officer.
Anderson has also been named the hospital’s first-ever president emeritus.
J.J. Hodshire, who has served as the hospital;s vice president and chief operating officer will succeed Anderson as Hillsdale Hospital’s new president and CEO, effective on Monday.
During his career, Anderson served as health officer and chief executive officer of the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency. He was also the Branch County Administrator between 1998 and 2006.
Anderson was recruited to Hillsdale Hospital in 2006 first as chief operating officer followed by his promotion to president and chief executive officer the following year.
