MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan State Police says they along with county and local agencies have been receiving calls about unemployment fraud.
According to a State Police news release, many businesses are getting unemployment claims for employees who are NOT seeking unemployment benefits.
A police report is not needed for this type of claim.
The employee can report the fraud by logging onto the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency website at www.michigan.gov/uia.
