ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A barn in Algansee Township was destroyed in a fire of unknown origins which broke out Sunday night.
The blaze at 694 Tallahassee Road was reported just after 8:00 p.m.
Lakeland firefighters were initially dispatched with Quincy firefighters were called in for mutual aid.
The barn was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived. Smoke from the fire could be seen for several miles.
Reports indicate hay, straw and equipment were inside of the structure.
Life Care Ambulance stood by but no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Firefighters were on the scene until about 10:35 p.m..
