ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two men from Three Rivers are in the St. Joseph County Jail after a police pursuit in a stolen vehicle.
St. Joseph County Sheriff deputies were called to the area of Harrison Road near Crampton Road in Mottville Township around 11 a.m. Monday to look for a truck that was taken from the Middleburry Indiana area.
Cass County deputies later located the vehicle in the area of Bair Lake St near the St. Joseph County line.
Authorities followed the driver to the area of Hoffman Road near Day Road and eventually used spike strips near Pulver Road and Bullock Road.
The pursuit continued to the area of US-131 near Moorepark Road and eventually stopped when the two inside surrendered.
The driver, a 28-year-old from Three Rivers who had several outstanding warrants, was arrested and the passenger, a 21-year-old from Three Rivers, was found in possession of narcotics and was also taken into custody.
