HUDSON, IN (WTVB) – A Hudson, Indiana man was flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center on Sunday evening after a pickup truck rolled over on County Road 500 West near County Road 400 South in Steuben County.
The Indiana State Police say they found 24-year-old Mitchell Musser laying in the grass next to the pickup truck which sustained extensive damage.
Troopers say according to a preliminary investigation, the vehicle went off the road twice before Musser lost control.
After leaving the road the second time, the pickup truck went airborne and struck an earth embankment before it rolled over and ejected Musser.
State Police say Musser was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. There were no passengers in the vehicle. Excessive speed is suspected to be a primary factor. The crash remains under investigation.
