BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB/WNWN) – The Calhoun County Public Health Department says there have been three more COVID-19 related deaths over the last couple of days.
That brings the total up to 35 persons have died in the jurisdiction after testing positive for coronavirus.
One death was reported on Thursday while two more deaths were reported on Friday.
There have been 495 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Calhoun County with the majority in the northwest corner of the county.
A total of 88 persons required hospitalization. As of Friday, four were still in a Calhoun County medical care facility.
A statement from the Joint Operations Center on Thursday said they continue to see positive cases of COVID-19 in Calhoun County, across the state, and across the country so, when possible, make lower-risk choices and help prevent the spread of the virus.
