COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – City of Coldwater police officer Robin Swartz has been selected to fill the reinstated School Resource Officer position at the Coldwater Community Schools.
Swartrz’s hiring came after an agreement between the City of Coldwater and Coldwater Community Schools was approved last month
Swartz will focus most of her time and effort at Coldwater High School and Legg Middle School but would also be available for programs at the elementary buildings.
To fund the program, Coldwater Community Schools will pay the city to cover 75 percent of the costs.
