COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Six finalists to be the next Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director are scheduled to be interviewed over the next couple of days by the Chamber Board of Directors Hiring Committee.
Outgoing Executive Director Cayden Sparks told the Coldwater Downtown Development Authority Board on Wednesday there were 19 applicants for the job.
The application deadline was last Friday.
Sparks said three of the finalists will be interviewed on Wednesday while the other three will be interviewed on Thursday.
A decision may be made at that time if the committee feels there is not a need to conduct a second round of interviews.
Sparks is leaving the Chamber at the end of the month. He will then serve as a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Vested Risk Strategies in downtown Coldwater. He is helping the Hiring Committee find his successor.
