COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County’s Republican Sheriff is getting an endorsement for re-election from the Branch County Democratic Party.
Party Chair David McMillian says their Executive Committee has voted to endorse Sheriff John Pollack in his run for a third term in office.
In a statement released by the party, Pollack is being endorsed by County Democrats, “based upon his years of proven integrity, effectiveness, and nonpartisan conduct in the administration of law enforcement and public safety within Branch County.”
Pollack will be running against Johnny Lopez in the August fourth Republican Primary after defeating him for the Sheriff’s Office in 2012 when Lopez ran as a Democrat.
