COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of the newest members of the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce is Junior Achievement of Southwest Michigan.
They are working with Branch County schools to bring financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workplace readiness education to local students.
They helped nearly 400 students this past year.
JA has adapted due to the Covid-19 pandemic to provide schools with a number of K-12 on-line delivery options, as well as the possibility to have volunteers deliver the curriculum remotely via services such as Zoom and Google Classroom. You can support JA in Branch County classrooms by signing up for the JA Virtual 5K. All proceeds from the event will remain locally.
