QUINCY TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police are investigating a hit and run watercraft crash which happened early Sunday morning near Corn Island on Marble Lake.
Troopers from the Marshall post say the watercraft, which was occupied by one or more boaters, struck a pontoon boat at around 4:00 a.m. and left the scene without reporting the crash.
The suspect watercraft was best described as a smaller, walk-through watercraft, which was white with a blue stripe running from stem to stern.
It is expected to have damage on its right side. its last direction of travel was north on Marble Lake from Corn Island.
The crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police in Marshall at (269) 558-0500 and reference report number 54-4800-20.
