DAYTONA BEACH, FL (WTVB) – Kevin Harvick won the pole for Sunday’s Cup Series GoBowling 235 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course, based on NASCAR’s new competition-based lineup formula which takes into account the driver’s finishing position from the previous race, team owner points, and the driver’s fastest lap from the previous race.
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Qualifying for next Sunday’s rescheduled 104th running of the Indianapolis 500 will take place today and tomorrow. Marco Andretti led Fast Friday practice with a top lap of just over 38 seconds at 233.491 mph.
