DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Pistons and the seven other teams who did not take part in the NBA restart are now able to hold voluntary workouts.
Phase one of the program started yesterday with individual drills and daily testing for Covid-19. Phase two runs from September 21 until October 6, 2020 with all participants being housed in a hotel to create a campus. Once the campus is established, teams may be allowed to hold practices and scrimmages.
The entire Pistons roster is eligible to participate and the team will be allowed to invite up to five additional players from their NBA G League affiliate.
