DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – Jose Ramirez went 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI as the Cleveland Indians snapped an eight-game skid with a 10-3 win at Detroit Thursday night.
Franmil Reyes drove in two, and Cesar Hernandez had three hits, an RBI and scored three times for the Tribe. Shane Bieber struck out 10 over seven-and-two-thirds innings of three-run ball to move to 8-and-1.
Casey Mize fell to 0-and-2 for Detroit after surrendering five runs, three earned, on four hits in three and two third innings. Willi Castro provided all of the offense for Detroit with a three-run homer in the eighth.
Tonight Michael Fulmer goes to the mound for the Tigers, while Zac Plesac gets the nod for the Indians.
