LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) – A judge has ruled that clerks must count ballots that may come in after Election Day, if they are postmarked by November 2nd, the day before the election.
Court of Claims Judge Cynthia Stephens stated that, due to the issues with the USPS, that leeway must be given to ensure that all votes are counted.
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s office has not provided a comment on the ruling.
