READING, MI (WTVB) – It was a long afternoon for the Union City Chargers on Saturday as they lost at Reading 45-6.
The two time defending Division 8 State Champions jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter and built their advantage to 32-0 at the half.
The Chargers lone score came on a fourth quarter 40 yard run by Connor Elgan.
Union City will host Homer on Friday in the Chargers home opener.
