ALLEN PARK, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Lions are looking for their first win of the season as they visit the Arizona Cardinals Sunday.
Wide receiver Kenny Golladay was limited in practice for the second straight day as he deals with a hamstring issue, but could make his 2020 debut this weekend.
Corner Desmond Trufant was limited yesterday after not participating on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. Tight end Hunter Bryant, who also has a hamstring injury, did not take part in practice yesterday.
According to several reports, the Lions are working out free-agent defensive end Jaball Sheard as the team looks to improve their pass rush. Sheard played for now Detroit head coach Matt Patricia when both were at New England in 2015 and 2016.
Patricia said while he could not comment on any workouts, he thought the 31-year-old was outstanding and disruptive in the pass rush. Sheard has spent the last three seasons with Indianapolis.
