LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) – A meeting on Thursday of the presidents of three top research universities in Michigan revealed that in class attendance by students isn’t expected to resume until fall of 2021.
The leaders of Michigan State, Michigan, and Wayne State met in Lansing, and stated that a good deal depends on a vaccine being available.
U of M president Mark Schlissel said that a vaccination program will be paramount to coming back to the classroom.
Wayne State President M. Roy Wilson explained that the pandemic will be around for the near future, and MSU president Samuel Stanley described how officials there are watching what other state schools are doing with in-class teaching.
