DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Lions are looking for their second win of the season as they host the New Orleans Saints at Ford Field Sunday.
Safety C.J. Moore was sidelined during yesterday’s practice with a calf injury. Corner Darryl Roberts was limited with a hip injury after being a full participant on Wednesday.
Tight end Hunter Bryant, defensive end Da’Shawn Hand and corner Desmond Trufant were all limited in drills as they continue to deal with injuries.
Lions punter Jack Fox has been named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month. Fox leads the NFL averaging 53.1 yards per punt. In September he had 13 punts with one coming in at 67 yards and seven ending up inside the 20-yard line.
This marks the first time a Lions punter has been named special teams player of the month.
