ANN ARBOR, MI (WTVB) – Six college football players from the state of Michigan are among 199 semifinalists for the William V. Campbell Trophy.
University of Michigan punter Will Hart, Michigan State University corner Dominique Long and Eastern Michigan tight end Thomas Odukoya are on the list. They are joined by Western Michigan offensive lineman Mike Caliendo, Grand Valley State linebacker Tyler Bradfield and Wayne State guard Lane Potter.
The award is given annually by the National Football Foundation to the country’s top-scholar-athlete.
