LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) – A staple of education during the wintertime in Michigan may be a thing of the past.
With many students involved with online learning, snow days may be obsolete, as learning will already be taking place at home, with no need to transport students in inclement weather.
Districts in Michigan that are offering in-person learning would still have the option of closing when weather conditions call for it, but students who work from home wouldn’t be covered under that provision.
