EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State University begins their 2020 football campaign October 24 against Rutgers at 12 noon at Spartan Stadium. The Big Ten announced the conference Week One schedule along with some additional games yesterday.
The match-up with Rutgers marks the debut of Mel Tucker as MSU’s head coach. Tucker took over the program after Mark Dantonio retired from the position in February.
The Big Ten also announced Michigan will kick off the season in Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. on October 24. This is the first game between the two schools since 2017, with the winner taking home the Little Brown Jug. The Wolverines have been holding on to the trophy since winning the last matchup 33-10.
The Big Ten also announced Michigan will play in their regular season finale at Ohio State at 12 noon on December 12.
