ALLEN PARK, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Lions returned to practice yesterday following their bye week. Guard Joe Dahl, cornerback Mike Ford and running back Bo Scarbrough took part in drills after being on the Injured Reserve list.
Corner Justin Coleman did not return to practice from the IR as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. Tight end Hunter Bryant and corner Desmond Trufant were also held out of practice yesterday because of injuries.
Detroit takes on Jacksonville Sunday afternoon.
The National Football League has cancelled the 2021 Pro Bowl due to Covid-19. In an announcement yesterday, the league said it will work closely with the NFLPA to create a variety of activities to replace the event. Despite the postponement of the game, the Pro Bowl roster will still be revealed in December.
The NFL also announced that the 2022 Pro Bowl will remain in Las Vegas, where it was set to be played on January 31, 2021.
