DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Tigers are doing their due diligence on the New York Yankees’ coaching staff as they look for a new manager.
MLB.com reports Detroit has interviewed Yankees hitting coach Marcus Thames, third base coach Phil Nevin and bench coach Carlos Mendoza.
The search is expected to ramp up after the World Series ends.
