ALLEN PARK, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Lions have acquired defensive end Everson Griffen from the Dallas Cowboys to help shore up their pass rush. In exchange, Detroit gave Dallas a conditional 2021 draft pick.
The 32-year-old had 74,5 sacks with the Minnesota Vikings in the first ten seasons of his career and 2.5 sacks in seven games with the Cowboys this year.
Because of the NFL’s Covid-19 protocols, the earliest Griffen will be able play for Detroit is November 8 against Minnesota.
