ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – A Quincy man was arrested in Steuben County on Monday morning for allegedly trying to buy a vehicle with a pound and a half of marijuana.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office says they got information on Sunday which indicated that someone from Michigan was interested in purchasing a vehicle that was listed online for sale in their county.
The information further indicated that the subject wished to buy the vehicle with marijuana.
Plain clothes Sheriff’s deputies met with the subject identified as 39-year-old Andrew Wade Galinis in the parking lot of the Love’s Travel Center near the intersection of I-69 and U.S. 20 at around 9:30 a.m. on Monday morning.
