DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Jayson Tatum nailed a go-ahead jumper with 2.9-seconds remaining as the Boston Celtics slipped past the Detroit Pistons 122-120 Sunday.
Tatum ended with 24 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds. Jaylen Brown scored a game-high 31 points for Boston, which moved to 4-and-3 on the season.
Jerami Grant led six Pistons in double-figures with 22 points. Blake Griffin added 13 points on just 4-of-14 shooting from the field as Detroit dropped to 1-and-5.
The Pistons will play at Milwaukee tonight and Wednesday.
