ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The undefeated Michigan Wolverines continue to move up in the men’s college basketball Top-25 Coaches Poll. The 9-0 Wolverines jumped six spots this week to ninth.
Meanwhile, Michigan State has fallen out of the poll after being ranked as high as fourth earlier this season.
Gonzaga remains first followed by Baylor, Villanova, Texas and Creighton. Kansas dropped to sixth with Iowa, Tennessee, Michigan and Wisconsin round out the top-10.
Michigan center Hunter Dickinson has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week. He averaged 22.5 points and shot 78.3 percent to help the Wolverines to wins over Maryland and Northwestern.
This is the fourth Freshman of the Week honor for Dickinson this season.
