ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – University of Michigan football and Jim Harbaugh could be close to a deal that would keep the head coach around another five years.
According to The Athletic, the two sides are nearing an agreement that would have an expected base salary of $4 million per year over the next five seasons. Harbaugh could reportedly make as much as $8 million per year with incentives.
The contract is not expected to have a big buyout.
The head coach has been with Michigan since 2015 and has a 49-and-22 record during that span.
