DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons came back from a 23 point deficit on Friday night to defeat the Phoenix Suns 110-105 in overtime at Little Caesars Arena.
Mason Plumlee’s dunk with 9.6 seconds left in regulation tied the score. Devin Booker then missed a potential game winning shot for the Suns. Detroit took command of the overtime by scoring the first nine points. Jerami Grant led Detroit with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Blake Griffin and Delon Wright both scored 16 points. Griffin also grabbed 12 rebounds.
The Pistons are now 2-7. They will host Utah on Sunday afternoon.
