ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Athletic Director Warde Manuel officially announced on Friday that head football coach Jim Harbaugh has reached a contract agreement to remain with the Wolverines through the 2025 season.
Manuel said in a statement, “I continue to believe that Jim is the right man to lead our program in pursuit of Big Ten and CFP championships.” The deal calls for Harbaugh to get a base salary of $4 million in 2021. His salary would increase to over $4.4 million in 2025. There would also be salary incentives if the Wolverines win Big Ten or National Championships.
Harbaugh has been with Michigan since 2015 and has a 49-and-22 record.
