LANSING, MI — Lansing is on alert this weekend as militias have called for an armed protest at the state Capitol on Sunday.
Governor Whitmer says she believes the building is safe and secure as Michigan State Police will install six-foot high fencing around the complex beginning today.
Whitmer says MSP is working with the Michigan National Guard and Lansing police, but will not give details on those discussions.
