COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency hosted three COVID-19 mass vaccination clinics this week including one that was held on Thursday at the Dearth Community Center in Coldwater.
Administrative Services Director Theresa Fisher says 542 doses were distributed at the Coldwater clinic.
Vaccines were administered by staff from the C.H.A. as well as volunteers and members of the Michigan National Guard.
The mass vaccination clinics are by appointment only and the Community Health Agency said a day before the Coldwater clinic that all of them were completely booked.
Appointments have been accepted for those in category 1A, most individuals in category 1B and individuals 65 to 74 years old in category 1C.
Officials say vaccine supply remains limited. Residents are asked to monitor the agency’s web site www.bhsj.org to find out when future clinics will be held.
