LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan’s Department of Natural Resources is looking for input from the public regarding the state’s public land use plan.
An updated version of the strategy has been made public on the department web site, and residents have until February 12 to comment on the plan, which will govern the 4.6 million acres of public land in Michigan.
Department officials say that the public’s feedback will be made a part of the proposal, which will be submitted to state lawmakers for approval July 1, 2021.
