ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – According to NFL Network, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has requested a trade.
The report says as Detroit attempts to start fresh next season with new head coach Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes, the two sides think it best to part.
Stafford was the first overall pick in the 2009 draft and has spent his entire 12-year career with the Lions. Stafford set franchise records with 45,109 passing yards and 282 touchdown passes.
