Ronald E. Bricker, 84, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his home.
A private graveside service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta. A reception will follow at the VFW Post in Marshall.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Ron was born on July 18, 1936 in Garrett, Indiana to James and LaVon (Thomson) Bricker. He graduated from Waterloo High School with the Class of 1954. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1964.
On December 22, 1962, he married Barbara L. Waldron in Coldwater.
Ron worked all over the world with Holloway Sand and Gravel, retiring in 1996 after 50 years of service. He was a member of the Local 324 Union. When not working, Ron enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Barb Bricker, of Coldwater; children, Jo Anne (Daniel) Downing of LaSalle, MI; Sandra Petre of Ashley, IN and James (Aubrey) Bricker of Brownstown Township; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Nancy (Marion) Carper, of Auburn, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Troyer; and a brother, Lyle Bricker.
