BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy went 3-0 at the Marshall Invitational while Coldwater won two out of three matches at Allegan in their season opening wrestling meets on Saturday.
Quincy defeated Parchment 42-29, Coloma 54-6 and the host Red Hawks 36-30.
Undefeated wrestlers on the day for the Orioles were Gerl Pish, Gavin Peet, Tyler Saterlee, Harley Daniels and Davin George.
Meanwhile, Coldwater defeated Allegan 46-18 and Fennville 48-6 but lost to Schoolcraft 60-18.
Zach Lewis (130) and Kevin Hall (285) both went undefeated on the day for Coldwater.
Finishing 2-1 on the day were Deegan Herlan (119), Marshall Hoard (135), Hunter Munson (160), Landyn Birk (189) and Chris Mobley (215).
