COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Just like they had done in recent months, the Coldwater Community School Board of Education reconfirmed the district’s Extended COVID-19 Learning Plan on Monday night.
Unlike in past, the plan now includes more in person classroom time for students.
Young Fives through Fifth Grade students are back to in person learning on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with Wednesday set aside for virtual learning.
Coldwater Superintendent Terry Ann Whelan says things have gone well so far.
Legg Middle School and Coldwater High School will return to four days of face to face instruction starting next Monday, March 1, 2021 and will follow the same schedule.
The Board also passed a resolution Monday night which requests permission from Governor Whitmer to begin holding in person school board meetings once again.
