COLLEGE PARK, MD (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State was blown out 73-55 at Maryland. The Spartans shot just over 33-percent and had their three-game winning streak snapped. MSU is 13-and-10 on the season. The Spartans host Indiana tomorrow before consecutive games against third-ranked Michigan.
Elsewhere in college basketball, number-three Michigan won 73-57 Saturday at Indiana. The Wolverines are 18-and-1 overall and 13-and-1 in Big Ten play.
In the Horizon League quarterfinals tomorrow, Detroit Mercy plays at Northern Kentucky and Oakland will host Youngstown State.
