COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Planner Dean Walreck gave the city’s Historic District Commission his department’s annual report on Wednesday as the Commission met for the first time since last July.
The Commission reviewed and approved five projects when they last met nine months ago and it’s obvious the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on businesses have altered some of those plans.
One of the projects was a 2,300 square foot addition to J.T.’s Billiard Bar and Grill.
J.T.’s had plans of installing a pizza kitchen along with additional dining space.
Walrack also noted a request from the recently closed Corona Smoke Shop at 4 South Monroe to install signage and an overhead door was also approved last July.
During a rather routine 15 minute meeting, the board agreed to continue having meetings scheduled on the second Wednesday of the month.
