CHICAGO, IL (WKZO AM/FM) — An annual event aimed at cleaning up beaches and shorelines along the Great Lakes will take place later this month and organizers are looking for more volunteers to help.
The Alliance of the Great Lakes, through their Adopt-a-Beach program, says thousands of people will spend Saturday, April 24 at various locations on all five Great Lakes in Michigan and the seven other states that border them to celebrate Earth Day.
