FABIUS TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two people were arrested in St. Joseph County over the weekend on several drug-related charges following a traffic stop.
Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says a 33-year-old Three Rivers woman and a 42-year-old Dowagiac man were taken into custody in the 10000 block of Dutch Settlement Rd in Fabius Township. A search of the vehicle revealed over 45 grams of suspected meth, packaging materials, a large amount of cash as well as a loaded firearm.
The 33-year-old female is in custody for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine. The 42-year-old male is in custody for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Felony Firearm, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and several misdemeanor offenses.
Their names have not been released.
