ONSTED, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater boys were third while the girls were fifth on Friday at the Onsted Wildcat Booster Track Invitational,
Adrian Madison won the boys meet with 93 1/2 points followed by Hillsdale Academy with 85 points and Coldwater with 80 points.
Both of the Coldwater wins came in the field events. Kenny Cramer won the shot put with a distance of 41 feet, seven and a quarter inches while Deandre Douglas finished first in the pole vault by clearing 11 feet, six inches.
Onsted edged Hillsdale Academy by two points to win the girls meet 115 1/2 to 113 1/2. Clinton was third with 70 points followed by Adrian Madison with 69 points and Coldwater with 39 points.
Coldwater’s Chloe Schaale won the 100 with a time of 13.48. The other Cardinal win came from Avery Boyce who won the pole vault by clearing eight feet, six inches.

QUINCY, MI – Quincy dominated the competition in its own Quincy Invitational Friday. In the boys meet, Quincy won with 173.5 points, 24 ahead of second-place Hillsdale, while the Lady Orioles won with 179 points, 60.5 more than runner-up Sand Creek.
Winners for the Oriole boys include Erik Butchart in the 1600 meters (4:52.11), Jacob Reif in the 3200 meters (11:12.36), and the 1600 and 3200 meter relay teams.
Nikkia Cronk was a double winner for the Quincy girls, taking the 100 (13.32) and 200 (27.59) meters. Brooke Wasikowski won the 400 meters (1:08.77), while the Orioles swept the top 3 places in the shot put, discus, and pole vault, which were won by Raigen Horsfall (38′ 11.25″), Sophia Snellenberger (117′ 10 “), and Anna Turner (8’6”) respectively.
Union City’s boys finished 8th, while the Charger girls were 7th. Both teams had 19 points.
