COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Hillsdale St. Joseph Community Health Agency announced on Saturday they are encouraging any of its residents who received one or both of their COVID-19 vaccines in a state other than Michigan to visit their offices so that information can be entered in the Michigan Care Improvement Registry.
Community Health Agency offices in Coldwater, Hillsdale or Three Rivers are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m..
A Community Health Agency staff person will provide the applicable paperwork to complete. Make sure you bring your COVID-19 vaccine card with you.
This information will be added to the County and State totals of the number of vaccinated individuals.
Health Officer Rebecca Burns says “BHSJCHA serves counties bordering the state line so we don’t know how many residents may have received vaccine out of state. The governor’s “MI Vacc to Normal” plan is opening up our state back up based on levels of vaccination, so it is important to include any out of state vaccinations in the count.”

Medical information is confidential and protected by law. The governor needs to get a new plan that doesn’t rely on gathering people’s person medical records
