LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – State residents who still receive unemployment funds will have to once again provide proof that they are actively seeking a job.
The state Unemployment Insurance Agency has stated that by the end of this month, the requirement to show proof of searching for work will go back into effect.
Issues such as concerns over workplace safety and childcare requirements are probable reasons for employers not being able to fill open positions, while one state lawmaker said that a good incentive to get workers to come back would be increased wages.
