DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former Red Wings center Sergei Fedorov has been named as the head coach of CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League.
Fedorov spent 18 seasons in the NHL and won three Stanley Cups championships with Detroit, He returned to Russia after his NHL career and played three more seasons with a KHL team.
Before his promotion to head coach, Fedorov had been working in the front office for CSKA Moscow.
