DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Wily Peralta threw seven scoreless frames as the Tigers shutout the Twins 7-0 at home. The right-hander limited Minnesota to only four hits to pick up his third win.
Jonathan Schoop and Jeimer Candelario each homered and drove in three runs for Detroit.
The Tigers swept the series and have won three straight.
