BROOKLYN, NY (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons selected Oklahoma State guard Cade Cunningham with the first overall pick in the NBA Draft last night.
Detroit added Michigan forward Isaiah Livers, Iowa center Luke Garza and Florida State center Balsa Koprivica in the second round. The Pistons also traded center Mason Plumlee to the Hornets and swapped second round picks with Charlotte.
The Houston Rockets took Jalen Green second and Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Evan Mobley third. The first surprise of the draft came with the Toronto Raptors selecting Scottie Barnes fourth, leaving Jalen Suggs to be taken by the Orlando Magic.
