CLEVELAND, OH (WKZO AM/FM) – Derek Hill hit the first home run of his Major League career but it wasn’t a day to remember as the Detroit Tigers fell 7-5 to the Indians in Cleveland Sunday.
Detroit gave up a 5-2 lead almost as fast as they built it by allowing Cleveland to tie in the fourth. Wily Peralta gave up five runs over five innings. Erasmo Ramirez took the loss for the Tigers.
Detroit, 54-60 on the season, will visit the Baltimore Orioles tomorrow.
